FAQ

Does the app keep EXIF and GPS metadata?

Yes. The Border App preserves metadata (including EXIF and GPS) when exporting supported formats. Orientation is normalized so the image displays correctly everywhere.

What’s the difference between Original and Web export?

Original aims to keep the image at original resolution (best for printing). Web caps output size to keep sharing fast and reduce memory usage.

Why does Original export show a “large export” warning?

Very high-resolution photos can require a large framebuffer during rendering. The warning helps avoid crashes on older devices. Web mode is safer for huge images.

Does the app collect my data?

No tracking. Your photos stay on-device while you edit. Support emails are only used to respond to your request.

Can I request a feature?

Absolutely. Email support with “Feature Request” in the subject and a short description of your ideal workflow.
