The Border App is designed to work primarily on-device. This policy explains what data is (and is not) collected when you use the app.

When you export/share, the app generates an edited image and hands it to the iOS share sheet. Where it goes next depends on the app/service you choose (Messages, Mail, Drive, etc.). Those services have their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect

The Border App does not collect personal information such as your name, email, location, contacts, or identifiers.

Data collected by the app

None. The app does not collect or transmit personal data to the developer.

Tracking

None. The app does not use tracking technologies or sell data.

Photos and Metadata

The app lets you select an image from your photo library to add a border and export it. The app may read image metadata (such as EXIF) from the selected photo to preserve it in the exported file.

Note: If you share the exported photo to another service, that service may read the metadata as well.

The app may request the following permission:

You can change permissions anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.

Third-Party Services

The Border App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If you choose to share/export using the iOS share sheet, the destination app/service is a third party and will have its own policies.

Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, it will be updated on this page with a new effective date.
